Information for First-Year Students

We would like to warmly welcome you as new students at the Institute for Music and Musicology and help you settle in with a few events and some information.

An orientation session with our academic advisor, Dr. Jan Duve, will take place on October 10 at 4:00 p.m. in Room 4.313. There, you’ll receive information about your studies, our courses, and all general procedures. Immediately following this, the department’s “Welcome & Farewell” reception will take place, to which you are cordially invited. The faculty will also introduce themselves and welcome you there.
